Former Vice President of OIA Board Of Directors and long term supporter and benefactor Saro Marukian was honored and presented with the Medal of Honor of the Armenian Patriarchate of Istanbul . The presentation took place during the Special Mass celebrated by visiting Abp. Aram Ateshian , the Acting Patriarch of Armenians of Turkey at the St . Leon Cathedral in Burbank on January 24, 2016 .
