Mr. Manuel Arabaciyan (1930-2025)

How can one possibly speak of a whole life lived as our extraordinary father, grandfather and friend to all, Manuel Arabaciyan lived. Born in Istanbul, Turkey to Arusyak Sargavakyan and Diran Arabaciyan, he was also a beloved and loyal brother to Araksi Arabaciyan. He sailed to Buenos Aires at the age of 19 to embark on a new chapter. There he met and later married Martha Beatriz Olombrada and they had three children, Susana, Martin and Alicia. In 1975, he moved his family to California where he spent the rest of his life. He travelled extensively to Europe, Asia and South America. He had also seen Africa. After retiring from the garment district, he enjoyed 30 glorious and happy adventures in his motorhome with his loyal and diverse group of friends throughout the United States and Mexico. He married his second wife, Maria del Socorro and she joined him on his travels, visiting Europe, Argentina and Mexico. Words fall short to describe and celebrate Manuel’s life. Never has anyone lived so much and appreciated so many years of love, adventure and excitement. He had no regrets, as he would say. He was an example of joy, gratitude and forgiveness. Thank you, dad for showing us that life is to be enjoyed, lived and never wasted. We hope to make you as proud as you made us of your time well-spent on earth
