ժամանէ, իրաւաբան, գրող եւ մարդու իրաւունքներու պաշտպան՝ Ֆաթհիյէ Չեթին:
Ֆաթհիյէ Չեթին եղած է Թուրքիոյ Սահմանադրութեան 301 յօդուածով մեղադրուած, Հրանդ Տինքի դատական պաշտպանը եւ շարունակած մինչեւ անոր անարգ սպաննութիւնը: Չեթին, մինչ օրս, կը շարունակէ ներկայացնել Հրանդ Տինքի ընտանիքի բոլոր շահերը: Ան, «Մեծ Մայրս» գիրքին հեղինակն է, որու մէջ կը նկարագրէ թէ երբ եւ ինչպէս բացայայտուած է իր մահացող մեծ մօր հայկական արմատները, իսկ՝ «Թոռները» գիրքին մէջ, որու համահեղինակն է նոյնինքն Չեթին, կը պատմէ 1915-1923 թուականներուն, թոռներու շուրթերով գրի առնուած, հայոց ցեղասպանութիւնը ապրած եւ բռնի ուժով ինքնութիւնը կորսնցուցած հայերու յիշողութիւնները:

Fethiye Çetin
Turkish lawyer, writer and human rights activist.
was born in 1950 in the Maden district of Elazığ province. She completed her primary and secondary education in Maden, Mahmudiye and Elazığ and received her law degree from the Faculty of Law of Ankara University.
As a lawyer in Istanbul, Fethiye Çetin has been actively working in the field of Human Rights Law, with special focus on minority rights. She served as the executive board member of Human Rights Centre of the Istanbul Bar Association and acted as the founder and speaker of the Minority Rights Working Group established under the centre. She founded the monitoring group ‘History for Peace’, which aims at changing racist, discriminatory and hostile elements in textbooks.
Çetin’s maternal grandmother, Seher, would later reveal that she was by birth an Armenian Christian who had been taken away from her mother on a death march in the course of the Armenian Genocide to be raised as a Muslim by a Turkish military official; this legacy inspired Çetin’s first book, a recounting of her grandmother’s story in the memoir entitled “My Grandmother”.
Fethiye Çetin’s book “My Grandmother” was published in 2004. “My Grandmother” has been translated into French, English, Eastern Armenian, Western Armenian, Italian, Flemish, Bulgarian, Greek, German and Romanian, and was granted the Armenian medal in Marseille. The book is currently being translated into Arabic.
Together with Ayşe Gül Altınay, she co-authored the book “Grandchildren” published in 2009. “Grandchildren” has also been translated into French. A recipient of the Padova Righteousness Plaque and an honorary member of the Armenian Lawyers’ Association of France, Fethiye Çetin was the lawyer of Hrant Dink, who was shot dead in 2007 in front of his newspaper offices. She continues to defend Dink family, Agos newspaper and Hrant Dink Foundation in her capacity as a lawyer.
