I gave a talk about my book at the Istanbul Armenians Association in Los Angeles. It was more like a conversation within the family. I received a nice placard, too.
On this occasion, I also earned a beautiful tradition. In the Armenian tradition, they bless the book with wine. But since they had few books, they blessed the promotional brochure as a representation of the book.
One of my jobs was to drink the remaining wine. Thank you all for organizing this amazing event.
Los Angeles İstanbul Ermenileri Derneğinde kitabım hakkınad bir konuşma yaptım. Daha çok aile içi sohbet gibiydi. Bir de plaket verdiler sağolsunlar.
Bu vesile ile güzel bir Ermeni geleneği de öğrendim.
Meğer geleneğe göre, kitabı şarap ile kutsallarmış. Ama ellerinde az kitap olduğu için, tanıtım broşürünü kitap yerine kullandık ve kutsadık. Çok güzeldi.
Bana kalan vazifelerden birisi de kalan şarabı içmekti.
