On May 27, 2024, we received the devastating news that our 9 year old son’s leukemia recurred and the cancer was more aggressive than last time.

He was originally diagnosed at the age of 4, and after 4 long years of regular chemotherapy treatments, he was declared cancer-free in 2023. At 8 years old, he finally got to enjoy life without the pain, fear and isolation he experienced during his cancer treatments.

When his cancer returned in an aggressive form, the doctors quickly determined he would require a Bone Marrow Transplant. The costs associated with BMT are overwhelming and his journey will be a long one.
